was doing my QT last night, came across the verse. you know, be with the wise, and you yourself will be wise. fools, and be like a fool. so i guess the friends whom you choose really makes a whole lot of difference altogether. the people whom u decide to step into the first circle. yesterday's class during one of the group's presentation, they mentioned something in their slide, "its not what you know, but who you know."
last week, one morning i was reading my daily bread on the train. and they talked about "friends". About Job and Daniel. Both had so much in common, went through serious trials and challenges, and both has great success because of the blessing of God's presence in their lives. viewed as great giants of faith. and something else they had in common, each has three significant friends. and the difference was, Job's friends was a thorn in his flesh offered condemation instead of compassion. however, for daniel, his three friends stood together in honiring God, supported and strengthened each one another.
(: i guess, its true. when they say, what makes you, is not what you know but who you know.....
